Devil's Tower

Welcome to Wyoming!

Devils Tower is a enormous monolith that rises 1,267 feet above the meandering Belle Fourche River. Once hidden below the earth's surface, erosion has stripped away the softer rock layers revealing this earthly wonder.

Located at 44*35'25"N, 104*42'55"W, just near Rapid City, SD and standing 5,112 feet high, the Devil's Tower is quite the attraction. Generating 400,000 visitors annually, 4000 of which climb the tower, it is a family favorite all around. Not only could you go for the historical entertainment of it being the first national American monument, but hiking and climbing trails also tempt the athletes.
